| Client Name | Japan Bank for International Cooperation |
| Country | Morocco |
Description
The Moroccan national expressway operator, Auto route du Maroc (ADM), prepared a project package for expressway widening for a 57.3 km section between Casablanca – Rabat and requested JBIC to support fund raising and technical aspects. The section conveys over 30,000 vehicles per day, the busiest road in Morocco, and ADM had no experience in widening an existing expressway.
PADECO provided the following outputs: (i) justification of all unit cost and surveyed required quantities through private sector interviews; (ii) proposal to ADM and JBIC of the necessary baseline survey data for environmental impact analysis; (iii) conducting of household interviews for social impact analysis, (iv) conducting of traffic forecast review and revised economic and financial rates of return; and (v) presentation necessary technical and safety advice for widening work.
