Rehabilitation Project for Disabled Persons
| Client Name | Japan International Cooperation Agency |
| Country | Chile |
Description
The welfare system for the disabled has improved lately in Chile. The state-owned Pedro Cerda Rehabilitation Center, however, became obsolete both in terms of medical techniques as well as facilities, compared to the private rehabilitation centers. The Chilean government requested from the Japanese government a project-type technical cooperation in order to upgrade the center. The study aimed to identify the actual needs of the center and formulate the Project Design Matrix (PDM) by holding workshops.
