Description
PADECO participated in a major JICA-assisted study to prepare an urban transportation master plan up to the year 2010 for the Honduran capital city. An initial component of the study entailed an inventory of the existing public transportation system, including traffic speed and traffic volume surveys, a bus terminal inventory survey, a bus volume survey at bus terminals, a bus passenger survey at bus terminals, a bus stop inventory, a bus passenger survey at bus stops, a taxi pool inventory survey, a taxi user interview survey, and a survey of bus and taxi companies.
