Description
This project was aimed at producing a pilot project for the development of a sustainable urban transport system, which may be introduced to other cities in Peru and throughout the region. The project assessed operational, institutional, regulatory, financing, and strategic aspects of the existing urban transport sector in Arequipa and culminated with the development of an urban transportation project for the short term (three years), within the context of a comprehensive medium-term (ten-year) master plan for urban transportation.
