PADECO Co., Ltd, is currently looking to hire a  consultant with a specialization in the energy sector and/ or climate change sector for consulting opportunities on donor-funded and private sector projects around the world.

Job Responsibilities:

- Participating in/leading energy/climate change-related projects as team member and/or project management support
- Developing the content of presentations, technical proposals, specifically the methodology, workplan and personnel schedules
- Assisting in business development activities including identifying potential projects, facilitating teaming arrangements and associations, attending bidders' conferences

Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in relevant major
- Experience in the implementation of relevant projects in developing and/or developed country contexts (including areas such as climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency, regulatory frameworks, and fuel management)
- At least 10 years of previous work experience
- Must have a very high command of the English language (TOEIC above 850 highly sought); some level of Japanese ability is looked upon favorably.
- Regional specializations and associated language skills preferred (Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese highly sought)
- MS Office skills
- Ability to travel extensively and work well in a wide variety of situations and cultures
